
tubulin组成微管的蛋白质称为微管蛋白。微管蛋白是球形分子,有两种类型:α微管蛋白(α-tubulin)和β微管蛋白(β-tubulin),这两种微管蛋白约占微管蛋白总量的80%~95%,具有相似的三维结构,能够紧密地结合成二聚体,作为微管组装的亚基。α亚基由450个氨基酸组成,β亚基是由455个氨基酸组成,它们的分子量约55 kDa。
作为管家基因,微管蛋白在所有细胞类型中大量表达,因此在蛋白质印迹实验(WB)中经常用作上样对照。同时也被用在免疫细胞化学(ICC)和免疫组织化学(IHC / IHC-P)中作为标记蛋白来显示微管的结构。

艾美捷/Synaptic Systems 微管蛋白抗体 是基于单克隆小鼠抗体F2C的嵌合抗体。重链和轻链的恒定区域已被兔特异性序列取代。因此,抗体可与标准抗兔二级试剂一起使用。该抗体已在哺乳动物细胞中表达,并在重链的C端携带链球菌标签®。
